Dear Members,
Bob Church has mentioned the possibility of me joining the specimen group which I would be keen to do. My whole world revolves around angling and, while I am 'alive and kicking', always will.
I started fishing at the age of four and am at present fifty-seven, and learn something new on every trip. I enjoy all forms of the sport except match-fishing (although I have not really fly-fished for trout for a few years now).
My personal bests are listed below:-

Pike - 27lb, Carp - 30lbs, Tench - 7lbs, Roach - 1lb 14oz, Chub - 6lb 1oz, Dace - 1lb 1oz, Barbel - 9lb 12oz, Bream - 8lb 12oz, Perch - 3lb 4oz, Atlantic Salmon - 26½lb, SeaTrout - 7lb, Brown Trout - 6lb, Rainbow - 12lb 6oz.
(Egypt) : Nile Perch - 120lb (shore), best 1 day catch 65lb, 60lb and 45lb, Tigerfish - 6lb.
(Alaska): Grayling - 3½lb, Arctic Char - 4lbs, Pacific Salmon - 25lbs, most in 1 day - 100 fish (twice). Never again!
Cod - 18lbs (beach), Whiting - 3lb 12oz (beach). Coalfish - 42lbs (Nova Scotia).
(Bahamas): Bonefish - 7lb 8oz, Black-tip Shark - 6½ feet, Barracuda - 25lbs.

I look forward to becoming a member if accepted
